About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Lead Nurse Assessor to join our team at the NHS South East London Integrated Care Board. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the Bromley All-Age Continuing Care (AACC) appeals and complaints function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the appeals and complaints processes and procedures within the AACC service.
  • Manage the local resolution panel for appeals and complaints.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of the AACC service.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of appeals and complaints.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on continuing care and adult social care policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a nurse on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register.
  • Postgraduate diploma specialist training and experience in continuing care and adult social care.
  • Excellent knowledge of continuing healthcare (CHC) guidance, policies, and decision-making.
  • Experience of working in a clinical leadership or management role in a relevant health or care setting.
  • Ability to provide and receive highly complex, sensitive, and contentious information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
