This is a pivotal role in the Marketing team, setting and driving the Marketing plan for the Sky Gaming Brands - Sky Vegas, Sky Casino, Sky Bingo and Sky Poker. Ensuring activity aligns to the Marketing Strategy and the budget is distributed optimally and efficiently.

Using your obsession with understanding market and customer insights to drive the thinking and strategy, this role will understand and influence where and how the c£60M Marketing budget is being invested, ensuring it is focused in the right places and returning positive value. Working with other senior leaders across UKI (commercial/product/content/tech/marketing services) to develop, communicate and deliver the wider Sky Gaming strategy.

Your role in ‘better’

  • Lead and influence senior customers in the Research, Commercial, Brand, Media, CRM, Content and Product teams to develop and deliver Marketing plans and campaigns that align to the overall Gaming strategy. Delivering key marketing campaigns (across the whole Marketing funnel), ensuring the creative, channel and commercial strategies work together to deliver business objectives.
  • Ensure plans & insights are clearly communicated and visible to Marketing teams and wider SBG business (short and longer term) and include (and celebrate) what has been achieved and delivered. Key to success will be a positive demeanour and a passion to sell a vision to senior customers as well as the Marketing and Commercial teams. Collaborating with the central Marketing Services, Finance & BI teams to measure marketing efficiency, set relevant metrics and targets and ensure they are visible to all teams.
  • Keep on top of wider regulation & market research, sharing impacts, encouraging the wider marketing team and business to drive innovation.
  • Customer Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, working with the Safer Gambling team to play a key role to ensure we protect our customers at all times.
  • With a significant amount of matrix management, the role will influence and lead teams, peers and senior customers.

How you’ll create ‘better’

  • Validated experience of working across different Marketing fields at a senior level, including creative and channel functions
  • Experience of leading multi million pound Marketing budgets and can demonstrate a detailed understanding of measurement techniques and value
  • A story teller, encouraging Marketing & senior leadership teams with vision and plans
  • Thinks strategically with significant experience of using consumer insights, data and business strategy to build extraordinary Marketing Plans & campaigns
  • Customer and consumer focussed, with a curiosity to always learn and share insights
  • A natural communicator that can lead, collaborate and influence at all levels
  • High levels of passion and enthusiasm to drive teams to achieve objectives and targets
