The company is recognized for supreme levels of customer service, a great value proposition, and world-class standards in its supply chain operation. They have a requirement for a Transport Planner who will be joining a successful team at a depot servicing the needs of multiple retailers.
Your main priorities will be the coordination of the transport planning operation to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of products.
# You will allocate resources, organize schedules, and ensure that robust planning is in place to meet agreed service levels.
# Daily data input of KPIs, daily delivery and collection issues, prepare paperwork for palletized deliveries.
# Meeting transport legislation commitments from a planning perspective.
# Manage the workload for your 3PL transport.

We seek a transport planning professional with operational experience gained within a fast-paced environment, ideally parcels or two-man delivery.
You will be fully conversant with up-to-date transport planning tools. Furthermore, you will be passionate about continuous improvement and will constantly strive to improve operational efficiencies and fleet performance while minimizing costs.
