Arriva UK Bus are currently recruiting for a Schedules Compiler to join their team in London. The main purpose of this role is to produce compliant time/duty schedule and rosters for both internal and external stakeholders. By winning or retaining tender routes, you would help the company to expand the market share within a particular region and increase the overall revenue.

This role is full time, permanent (38 hours per week).

To be able to compile time schedules, duty schedules and rotas within the requirements of the Road Traffic Act and Company and Trade Union agreements

To be able to use our schedules systems to assist in compilation of schedules

To be able to produces timecards, duty summaries working timetables, rotas and other paperwork necessary

To compile complaints schedules for tenders, produce schedule summaries and assist as necessary in the submission of tender documents

To be able to use Adiana to upload schedules, download timetables for tendered routes, check service calendars and any other data necessary

To undertake observations and use Hyperian data to analyse reliability, running times and other data

To understand reliability observations for High and Low frequency routes; and QIC’s bonus payment regime

To review routes operated by other companies and make recommendations about their reliability and running time

To represent the company as required on ad hoc basis

To be aware of the commercially sensitive nature of data and ideas and respect that at all times

To act in a professional manner in all times

Experienced in producing timetables, duty schedules and rotas that get the optimum balance, between employee-friendly working patterns, service reliability, and value for money

Experienced in using Optibus scheduling system

Analytical and problem resolving skills and good attention to detail
