**Contract Type** - Permanent LU Contract

**Salary**:

- £35,606.00

To schedule training resources and allocate tasks and coverage for Skills Development through systems based tools (E.g. SAP and other systems as required) To maximize utilization of resources and coverage across the department through the identification of interdependencies and opportunities for resource rationalisation.

**Key Accountabilities**
- To support in the delivery of Skills Development intervention targets through the efficient allocation of resources including trainers, classroom and specialist equipment as appropriate.
- To demonstrate a sound understanding of delivery commitments for the wider business
- To build effective relationships across Skills Development in order to provide the required level of support for business partners
- To liaise with the demand planner to detail reoccurring issues around scheduling
- Produce high quality and accurate outputs, analysis and preliminary information from the schedules including data and metrics required
- Act as a one stop shop for queries from operational teams
- Ability to coach others in how to book themselves on to training using SAP

- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, work methodically and manage time effectively to meet deadlines(Essential)
- Able to demonstrate initiative in solving problems as well as sound judgement on when to refer issues to managers(Essential)
- Highly responsive with excellent ability to absorb information quickly (Essential)
- Ability to analyse and manipulate data from a variety of sources in order to make recommendations (Essential)

**Knowledge**
- General knowledge of SAP R3/SharePoint/Oracle or similar scheduling systems (Essential)
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of databases,
- able to learn new software (Essential)
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel (Essential).
- Knowledge of LU Operations (Desirable)

**Experience**
- Experience of working to tight deadlines in an output specified, results orientated tea with clear deliverables (Essential)
- Ability to work with others but also work on own initiative to ensure work is completed on time and accurately (Essential)
- Experience of making decisions quickly and without supervision to provide the best possible outcome for the business (Essential).
