The primary purpose of this exciting new role is to ensure the high quality and compliance of Lidl’s customs activity. Leveraging your extensive customs knowledge, you’ll contribute to compliance processes and safeguard Lidl from compliance risk. As a specialist in customs classification of goods and compliance, you’ll also manage a team of experts. In Customs, no two days are the same, as a Customs Manager, you will constantly be bringing clarity to new and interesting regulatory challenges. You’ll also be developing and coaching a great team to manage the continuously changing customs landscape.

Training and coaching members of the customs classification and audit team
● Building import data reports and dashboards
● Checking, reviewing, and analysing customs classification and audit data to identify trends, areas of concern and improvement opportunities.
● Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and advising on customs classification and audit related issues
Strong knowledge and experience in the field of customs classification (e.g., Detailed knowledge and experience working with customs import data, and post-clearance audits.
● Analytical mind-set with the ability to analyse large data sets and build dashboards
● Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
