Senior Legal Advisor - UK Qualified Solicitor

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at Compliance Recruitment Solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal guidance and support to the organisation on a variety of matters, including investment transactions, corporate governance, and legal regulatory compliance.
  • Advise on the structuring and formation of investment vehicles, including funds and SPVs.
  • Review, negotiate, and draft commercial agreements, including client agreements, data-related contracts, and supplier contracts.
  • Identify legal risks associated with business operations, products, and services, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Oversee and support third-party management, including selection, due diligence, contract negotiation, and ongoing performance evaluation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues affecting the company's business practices or operations.
  • Review and advise on legal and regulatory filings, including offering memoranda and prospectuses.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel on complex legal matters.

Requirements:

  • UK qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' experience gained in Funds or Asset Management.
  • Basic understanding of UK regulation as applicable in an Investment Manager.
  • Ability to interact with senior management and influence external stakeholders on legal matters.
