Senior/Lead Service Designer

Our client is a leading global digital transformation consultancy, partnering with a renowned name in the energy sector. Their mission is to leverage cutting-edge technology and innovative design to drive business transformation for their clients. As part of their rapidly expanding AI team, they are committed to building user-centered designs that enhance digital products and services.


We are seeking a Service Design Lead to join the team. As a leading firm in the technology space, they are building their service design capabilities to meet increasing client demand for business transformation. This role is crucial in driving and connecting all Service Design activities across projects, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and being responsible for the quality of project deliverables.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within dynamic business environments, on complex IT projects, and addressing large enterprise technology challenges. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on creating experiences that reduce costs and increase customer experience (CX) & revenue for our clients.

You will be both hands-on in delivering project work and comfortable providing design leadership where necessary.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Service Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Service Design and/or design and innovation roles
  • Extensive experience working within dynamic business environments, on complex IT projects, and addressing large enterprise technology challenges
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma
  • Extensive experience with collaborative tools like Mural and Miro
  • Strong portfolio showcasing problem-solving approach and service design skills
  • In-depth understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Knowledge of Agile or Lean UX methodologies and experience working in collaborative, agile environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very strong workshop facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience in working within a consulting environment and ability to translate client needs into design solutions
  • Very strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, tenacious, resourceful, and resilient in pursuing the best solutions for clients
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and client relationships
