Manchester, United Kingdom Dentsu Aegis Network Full time
The purpose of this role is to implement and execute CRO initiatives, in line with the agreed strategy, to maintain, develop and exceed client performance targets.

Job Title:

Senior UX Research Executive

Job Description:

Introduction

Dentsu is the network designed for what’s next, helping clients predict and plan for disruptive future opportunities and create new paths to growth in the sustainable economy. Taking a people-centered approach to business transformation, we use insights to connect brand, content, commerce and experience, underpinned by modern creativity.

iProspect vision is to be a critical marketing partner for our clients delivering transformative business outcomes. We do this by delivering performance solutions that connect data technology and activation into one seamless, optimised marketing performance engine. This role is a critical enabler of these solutions for our clients.

A vacancy has arisen in our Optimisation team for a Senior UX Research Executive based from our London or Manchester office.

Purpose of the Role

We are part of one of the world's largest digital-first, end-to-end media agencies, and offer CRO & UX to some of the world's top companies. We are growing our Optimisation & UX department and are looking for people to lead our UX projects.

Our previous clients have included Specsavers, Asda, Dr Martens, Honda, Pets at Home, Natwest, People’s Postcode Lottery, Leonardo’s Hotel Group, and more.

You will be part of a close-knit team of specialists that work together to create customer-focused strategies to improve our clients’ website experiences. Your main role will be to plan and conduct research on our biggest clients, whilst supporting junior researchers with their workload and development.

Key responsibilities

As a Senior UX Research Executive, your focus will be:

Leading research projects for our clients, including planning activity and leading a wider team of UX Executives and Assistants to achieve our clients’ objectives
Assist the UX Research Manager to collaboratively plan, design and conduct research projects using a range of quantitative and qualitative methods to gain a true understanding our clients’ products and customers. This could include 1:1 moderated and unmoderated research, polls and surveys, heuristic evaluations, usability testing, eye tracking and card-sorting, amongst others.
Providing guidance and training to junior members of the team, ensuring that their works meets the required quality standards
Presenting findings from research to the strategy team, or direct to our clients. These findings will heavily influence optimisation strategies, meaning you will get to see the impact of your research.
Working with the UX Research Manager to develop our research capabilities and improve our ways of working. This could be through onboarding new tools, providing training or developing new approaches.
Working alongside our UX Design team, participating in ideation and sketching sessions to come up with design concepts. Some of our UX Researchers also work within the Design team, creating high-fidelity designs for our clients. This can be accommodated but is not required.
Becoming an expert in relevant UX tools & technology.

This is a great opportunity to collaborate with other members of the team including Strategists, Data Analysts, UX Researchers, Designers and Developers. Sharing ideas with other experts provides the best results and enables your professional development in a way not available anywhere else.

We are looking for:

The successful candidate will need to be able to work on multiple clients at the same time so the following skillsets are required:

Passionate about customer behaviour, optimising online experiences and an interest in wider digital marketing activity
Experience of digital marketing, especially UX or CRO
Experience with research methodologies such as polls/surveys, remote research, moderated research, guerrilla research, customer interviews etc.
Ability to analyse research and turn findings into insights and trends
You must be able to efficiently manage your own workload to provide the best results for multiple clients; proactively picking up tasks, delivering to the desired level and prioritising activity to meet deadlines
Desire to continually learn and develop, either through guidance from the senior team, or making the most of the many training opportunities available at Dentsu
Ability to work collaboratively with wider team of strategists, designers, developers, researchers and web analysts

Nice to have

We do not expect candidates to have experience in all things digital marketing, UX and CRO. We look for people that have relevant experience and a hunger to learn and develop. If you have experience in any of these disciplines, then this might improve your chances of recruitment:

Awareness of UX design principles and ability to create designs using Adobe XD, Figma or alternate tool
Good communication skills, having the confidence to support on client calls and present activity in a clear and concise manner
Ability to create relationships with our client stakeholders
Knowledge of website management, either e-commerce trading, content creation or lead generation
Experience of using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
Capability to analyse data and uncover insights and trends

What we offer

This is a permanent role. The team is based from either our Manchester or London office and operates under flexible hybrid working arrangements. As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs which includes:

Competitive Salary
Company-provided Medical Healthcare
Generous Pension provisions
Health and Wellness benefits
Volunteering days
Life Assurance
Working in diverse teams where you can make a real impact.
Exciting and rewarding environment.
Varied work across industries

Inclusion and Diversity

Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.

We are happy to discuss flexible and agile approaches to working for all our roles – we can’t promise we will be able to offer you everything you want or need but we do promise to discuss it with you openly and honestly. If you have any reasonable adjustment needs arising from a disability or medical condition to fully participate in the recruitment process, please discuss this with our recruitment teams.
