WHAT TO EXPECT 

This is great opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Senior UX Researcher to join the JLR app team in Manchester, where they will design, perform, and assess user research across our app ecosystem. This individual will assist us in bridging the gap between our product, user experience, engineering, and commercial teams, ensuring that user research and customer data are central to everything we do. 

You will be part of a collaborative, iterative, and agile process within a multidisciplinary team, assisting in the delivery of tomorrow's digital solutions. You're energetic, interested, and full of ideas. You are up to date on the newest trends, methodologies, innovative practices, and technology and can provide new insights to the team. 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

Design, administer, and analyse qualitative and quantitative studies to evaluate potential solutions for products and features. 

Present research findings to stakeholders to advocate for the best user experience.

Help develop modern test environments and data-capturing tools to ensure successful testing.

Set clear quantitative and qualitative metric targets as well as feature experience requirements to be implemented by software engineers 

Define and promote standard research techniques, methods, and strategies at local and worldwide levels. 

Provide insights on current research, data, and market trends.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

Previous hands-on UX research experience or related field 

Experience with research methodologies such as polls/surveys, remote research, moderated and unmoderated research, guerrilla research, customer interviews etc. 

Demonstrated ability to lead research projects from conception to completion 

Strong communication and storytelling skills, capable of advocating for research and influencing decision-making across domains. 

Proactive mindset with a track record of identifying new product development opportunities through research.
