What's the purpose of role:
The key purpose of this role is to support the Head of HR Shared Services in leading on the development and delivery of a HR Shared Services centre for dnata Catering UK. This is a broad ranging role, you will have responsibility for driving a high-quality service within all areas of our HR Shared Service including recruitment, on-boarding, lifecycle changes and reviewing and implementing change. You will be responsible for our seasonal recruitment across the organisation, dealing with high recruitment volumes and driving improved resourcing strategies to achieve operational requirements.
You'll also coach and develop a team you'll be evaluating and reporting progress against activity to demonstrate effectiveness and value.
Who you'll deal with:
Internal: Regional Directors, Line Managers, colleagues, and the wider HR team.
External: Third party providers including recruitment agencies and providers of recruitment services to support the vetting and on-boarding cycle.
What you'll be doing:
- Creating and on-going review of service level and KPI's to meet and manage HR Transactional processes including seasonal recruitment and business needs to ensure operational activity runs smoothly.
- Ensuring HR shared services including all transactional activity, are delivered to quality and time standards by the internal team.
- Leading service change, governing internal shared service control processes and continuous improvements.
- Providing input into the development, implementation and management of appropriate HR shared service reporting and service management controls.
- Acting as the final point of service issue or change escalation within the HR shared service operation
- Ensuring the team are working effectively to manage all incoming internal enquiries relating to a wide variety of HR, ER and other employee lifecycle changes.
- Focusing on quality, professionalism and speed of work ensuring compliance is maintained and the correct level of guidance is provided.
- Supporting and delivering project work relating to the HR shared services team and wider HR projects.
- Continually assessing training needs within the team to ensure they are fully equipped to work effectively
- Delivery of MI to Management and to be involved with various initiatives within the business
- Management and security of employee data ensuring full compliance with regulatory body standards

What you'll have:
- CIPD qualified
- Experience in managing HR Shared Services within a fast-paced organization.
- Transformation experience and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Experience of working in a seasonal high volume recruitment role.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Project management experience desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence colleagues, up to Director level
- Results focused and persistent in approach to ensure progression within the department is being made
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to coach and develop managers within your own team.
- Ability to advise on a wide range of recruitment methods.
- Experience and proficiency with Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) and HR databases, Workday experience desirable but not essential.
