As our services continue to grow, we are looking for a Resource Planner to join our team and help ensure that the right people are in the right place at the right time – so that patients and customers receive the highest standard of care.

The Role

As Resource Planner, you will play a key role in the scheduling and coordination of our clinical workforce across multiple services. Working closely with our operational, recruitment, and clinical teams, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate schedules, forecasting staffing needs, and supporting compliance – ensuring services run smoothly and effectively each day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff, bank workers, and locums
  • Manage and update resource planning systems with accurate and timely information
  • Forecast future resource needs based on service demand and project timelines
  • Generate reports and ensure staffing levels align with contractual and operational requirements
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and compliance by ensuring data accuracy and accessibility
  • Identify and help resolve resourcing issues, escalating as appropriate
  • Participate in daily huddles and help coordinate workload and priorities
  • Provide out-of-hours support as part of an on-call rota when required
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience in resource planning, scheduling or administration, ideally within healthcare
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-focused mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving and resource optimisation
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and resource planning software
