As the Talent Acquisition Manager for the EMEA region, you will play a critical role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent to support our diverse portfolio of events and projects. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will lead the recruitment function, develop strategic initiatives, and build strong partnerships with hiring managers to ensure the acquisition of top-tier talent that aligns with our company culture and values.

Your perspective

Responsibilities

Lead the Talent Acquisition team across EMEA, providing guidance and assisting with personal development plans as needed

Develop the full recruitment cycle (including supporting induction) ensuring a positive recruitment experience for all candidates Manage all recruitment adverts (both internally and externally) and ensure the maintenance of job boards with relevant teams Maintain the ATS to ensure accurate records of candidates and the relevant outcomes, communicating the outcomes accordingly Maximise existing and future systems to digitise where possible the recruitment process Work in partnership with recruiting managers to understand current and future talent needs and effectively plan to resource these Collaborate with the recruiting managers to research and design a consistent recruitment procedure, providing market guidance and refine recruitment priorities Update and maintain the EMEA Job Descriptions site, ensuring all JD’s are consistent and work towards aligned descriptions and titles with the US Liaise with the US and relevant HR regarding creation of any new roles/job tiles for all appropriate systems Implement innovative sourcing strategies to generate multiple candidate pools throughout the EMEA region, maintaining an active pipeline Create and manage recruitment campaigns which attract a diverse pool of candidates Proactively approach suitable candidates who may already be in work utilising platforms such as LinkedIn Build excellent relationships with external recruitment agency/support partners, managing all the fee negotiations Advise on appropriate selection methods Schedule and conduct shortlisting interviews, and where necessary attend full interviews with the recruiting managers Create, send and retrieve offer letters, contracts and new starter paperwork from new hires in a timely manner and maintain the HRIS Streamline resourcing processes Provide relevant reporting to the business and analyse management information to develop areas of focus or improvement Act as point of contact for all resourcing issues and matters Develop and deliver consistent brand and attraction channels including Social Media and professional networking platforms selling the company story and Focus on You Work with local Managers & HR Generalists to develop robust induction programme and improve retention rates Develop initiatives to raise Company profile in local communities / education sector Reduction of agency Creative recruitment methods, marketing campaigns, building relationships with colleges/universities/schools/community groups Create and manage talent database plans to meet the long term resourcing needs of the business Work with the Comp & Bens Team to ensure salary packages are pitched appropriately, and feedback any market difficulties you are facing

Experience and skills required

Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the events industry or a related field. Demonstrated success in developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates and stakeholders at all levels. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software tools.
