We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance & Support Services Manager to join our facilities team working on our Greater Manchester Police TFM contract based at Eccles police station, and covering the entire police estate across Greater Manchester. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

The role: 

Reporting to the General Manager Responsible for day-to-day and strategic management of contract performance through the management of the CAFM system, the Service Desk and administration function associated with the Greater Manchester Police Authority PFI contract. To ensure that all services are measured and reported consistently to the required standard and that they meet the specific requirements of the FM Contract, Authority Requirements (PA), and our clients. Line Management of the Service Desk, Administration and Performance Teams Ensure efficient and effective running of the Service / Helpdesk function including performance reviews and CAFM analysis. Undertake AP/RP duties as required with appropriate training Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday

The person:

Must have experience of line management and in particular a focus on Helpdesk operations Must have detailed and experienced understanding of PFI contracts and compliance with significant experience in a building services environment 

Good understanding of FM industry standards and compliance with ISO , and

Must be able to demonstrate effective planning, organising and prioritising skills. High level of IT literacy in using Microsoft and CAFM packages (good Excel is essential) Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines Good communication and influencing skills Able to use own initiative and work well under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail Excellent understanding of reporting procedures and record-keeping Excellent analytical skills and the ability to analyse and interpret information quickly Must be able to achieve and retain relevant vetting clearance required by the client Full driving licence as travel to sites across the contract will be required
