Salford Primary Care Together (SPCT) is a community interest company that brings together all GP practices in Salford as its members. Our aim is to work with our members and other partners to ensure general practice is at the heart of joined-up care in Salford.
EPiC Team Overview
The Extended Primary Integrated Care (EPiC) Team is run by SPCT to bring together primary and urgent care services through a central hub, directing patients to the most appropriate level of care they require.
Job Summary
We are seeking an Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team working across EPiC, covering shifts between 8am-6:30pm on a part-time basis of 30 hours per week. The role provides support for planned and urgent care services, as well as Primary Care Network Support.
Main Responsibilities
- To efficiently manage administrative systems pivotal to the daily running of these services, including monitoring stock levels, supporting clinicians with data inputting, and responding to service email inquiries.
- To effectively operate clinical systems, escalating issues where necessary to relevant service managers.
- To develop and maintain relationships across Salford organisations, promoting collaboration throughout the Health & Care system.
- To communicate confidently with people on matters arising, issues, and ideas.
- Liaise with members of SPCT, Primary Health Care Team, other NHS organisations, and outside agencies as required.
- Participate in meetings as necessary.
- To work in partnership with others to help develop and implement ideas, and policies which will promote efficiency and wellbeing of the service delivery.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- A sound general education to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Holding a Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Good general computer skills.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Evidence of excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience demonstrating good attention to detail.
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
Desirable Qualifications
- Training or qualifications in administration and IT.
- Competent in the use of patient record management systems: Adastra & EMIS.
Salary Estimate:
Based on industry standards, we estimate the salary for this position to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
