We are seeking an experienced and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Salford Primary Care Together (SPCT). The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of our administrative systems, ensuring seamless delivery of care services to patients.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain stock levels across sites, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing stockouts.
- Support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care, including emergency situations, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Prepare correspondence and reports in accordance with policy, ensuring all service needs are met and communication is clear and concise.
- Liaise with team members via email or telephone to address problems and ensure effective collaboration.
- Support administrative tasks within the office setting, including printing, emailing, producing rotas, and handling referrals from email and clinical systems.
- Make comfort calls to patients waiting in the emergency department, providing reassurance and support.
- Monitor clinical systems, including EMIS and Adastra, to ensure smooth running of services and escalate issues to relevant service managers.
- Support new staff induction to the EPIC services portfolio, ensuring a smooth transition and effective onboarding.
- Develop and maintain relationships across Salford organizations, promoting collaboration and improving service delivery.
- Confidently communicate with people on matters arising, issues, and ideas, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
We are looking for a candidate with a sound general education to GCSE level or equivalent, or relevant qualifications. A valid UK driving license is also essential. Desirable qualifications include training or qualifications in administration and IT, as well as experience in patient record management systems, such as Adastra and EMIS.
We require a candidate with good general computer skills, competent in the use of Microsoft Office, and evidence of excellent administration and organizational skills. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is also desirable.
