Brakes and Fresh Direct are now recruiting for a HR Assistant to join us on-site in our Dagenham depot on a full time, permanent basis.
As a HR Assistant you will provide support and guidance to key stakeholders and managers to create an employee experience that establishes us as a great place to work. The role provides support to the site, with occasional support to other depots as and when required.
You will work closely with a HR Partner and HR Administrator at a nearby depot, on site operational management teams and HR Shared Services. The role does not have any direct reports.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Help line managers with the onboarding of new starters and probation reviews Provide support with creating and maintaining an engagement activities calendar and initiatives such as Employee Communication Forums. Assist in the facilitation and delivery of management development training Support line managers to ensure all people processes are managed and actioned in accordance with relevant policy / process timescales Collation and presentation of ad hoc HR data / insights Maintain the highest level of data integrity by handling all colleague and company information with sensitivity and absolute confidentiality and ensure the adherence of GDPR regulationsYou:
You will ideally be working in a similar HR Assistant role, looking for the next step in your career. We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of basic employment law and HR practices. You can expect to be dealing with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels across the depot offering a great customer service so someone with strong communication skills and enjoys working to meet deadline is important. CIPD Level 3 is desirable or working towards.
