Financial Administrator

Location: Leeds

Reports to: Account Director

Job Summary: The Financial Controller, dedicated to the Client account, is responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to the account. This role ensures the accurate and timely management of purchase orders, invoices, billing, and financial reporting, providing transparency and control over all expenditures while aligning with the client’s financial processes and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial aspects related to the account, including purchase orders (POs), invoices, billing, and purchasing.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with the specified approval processes.
  • Monitor and control outgoing costs, ensuring that expenditures are within budget and approved by the relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management and the client, providing clear visibility into financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the client’s finance team to ensure that all financial processes are aligned and transparent.
  • Implement and manage financial controls to prevent overspending and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Address any financial queries or issues raised by the client, providing prompt and accurate resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within a service-oriented industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, controls, and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
