Ferring is looking to hire a seasoned international brand communications candidate who can drive Ferring’s future growth strategy across our critical growth therapeutic areas. As our Global Brand Communications and Commercial BP, you will lead on global brand communications, acting as business partner to Commercial function and elevating the reputation of the company to ensure sustainable growth in line with company strategy.

Your day at Ferring

Lead global brand communications for Ferring’s Urology/Uro-oncology and Gastro-enterology Franchises, acting as strategic counsel to global cross functional brand teams to develop and deliver effective and impactful communications programmes.

Serve as a key point of contact for our Chief Commercial Officer and leaders of global strategic initiatives (e.g., SVPs Franchises) to deliver internal and external leadership profiling and engagement.

Work closely with Commercial function team to amplify PA and relevant stakeholder engagement initiatives externally and within markets.

Manage external agency support and implementation to ensure strategic and cost-effective use of services.

Facilitate all media interviews for senior executives, including media training and coaching.

Play a key role in developing, leading, and executing strategic and operational communications that support Ferring's purpose and mission. Ensuring the vision, and the look and feel of Ferring is maintained in all developed content.

Lead on social media for Global corporate channels, including management of social media agency and data reporting.

Act as deputy for Head of Corporate Communications as needed.

Drive cohesion and consistency in messaging and tone of voice across external and internal channels.

Support crisis communications and media issues to protect Ferring brand and minimize any possible reputational impact.

Align the global communications calendar and planning according with the business priorities.

Establish and track metrics/dashboards that measure the effectiveness of communications.

Behind our Mission…There’s you

University degree, ideally with a relevant further qualification in the field of communications or business administration.

Minimum of 8-10 years in communications or public relations, ideally with demonstrable experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Strong experience in brand communications to drive business objectives across different geographies and regulatory landscapes; previous experience in gastro-enterology and/or uro-oncology deemed an advantage.

Excellent commercial acumen and proven track record in translating marketing and brand strategy into impactful communications and PR activities, and brand insights into impactful storytelling that resonates with target audiences.

Able to seek and develop mutually beneficial relationships globally working across multiple commercial functions and with culturally diverse teams.

Depth of experience working with C-suite to brief and coach on media engagement.

Strong external network across industry stakeholders, particularly media.

Excellent written and presentation communication skills; proven ability to be persuasive and act as company spokesperson.

Data savvy, insights driven strategic thinker able to measure and track impact, effectiveness and return on investment.

Track record of building and managing editorial content calendar to deliver high quality, impactful communications and social media content, working at the forefront of effective usage of generative AI.

Agile and flexible solutions orientated mindset capable of delivering effective communication strategies within the context of a business transformation or significant organizational change.

Fluent English is a must. Proficiency in additional languages a plus.
