Job summary

This exciting opportunity is being offered on a secondment basis for 6 months. Working as part of the Quality Governance Team to provide high level administrative support to the Patient Safety Team as required.

Acting as an initial point of contact for communicating with patients, staff and senior leaders.

Maintaining high quality documentation to ensure effective and accurate data records are held.

Main duties of the job

Act as an initial point of contact for staff, patients, and others for all coronial investigations, clinical litigation claims and patient safety incident investigations as part of the Trust annually agreed Patient Safety Incident Response Plan (PSIRP) as required within the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).

Under the direction of the patient safety and complaints manager of incident and Litigation and Inquest Officer to obtain detailed information from staff, patients, and others regarding their involvement coronial investigations, clinical litigation claims and patient safety incident investigations paying due care and attention to the sensitivity of these issues.

Job responsibilities
