The impact you’ll have:

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our finance team as a Balance Collection Agent, reporting into our Credit Control Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and collecting debts owed to the company, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

Your day-to-day:

  • Contacting clients to follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans
  • Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Issuing reminders and collecting debts in a professional manner
  • Resolving any disputes or queries related to outstanding payments
  • Regularly reporting on the status of debt collections

Your skillset:

  • Proven experience of handling high volume inbound and outbound customer communications
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Not necessary but would be desirable to have:

  • Experience as a Credit controller, with a track record of collecting debts
