I am looking for a Personal Assistant to take me out and support me with various activities. Due to my health conditions I need to keep busy to give me peace of mind and help me to feel calm. I would need someone who has some experience of caring for people with brain injury and is not offended easily. I love going to my allotment and tending to the plants there. However, I can be a bit unsteady on my legs and am at high risk of fall. I would need someone to help me back up should I fall. I may also need some practical gardening assistance so if you are a keen gardener that would be a big bonus. Other activities I like to take part in are DIY, fishing, photography, going to the cinema and swimming so ideally you would be quite an active person to support me with my hobbies. I will also need support with my medication when we are out and about

The rate of pay for this position is £11.90 per hour You will be working flexible hours, to be negotiated by the Employer. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer Satisfactory passing of mandatory training care courses. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.  Services
