Join the Close Brothers PMO team where you will ensure, guide and provide valuable insight in the ongoing delivery of our current portfolio of change ensuring senior management decisions lead to the successful execution of our strategic goals.

Working as part of the PMO team, our ideal team member will have previous experience working in a delivery environment, preferably in a Financial Services environment with excellent interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Takes responsibility for the provision of portfolio, programme and project support
  • Evaluates project and/or programme performance and recommends changes where necessary
  • Leads the development of workforce plans to ensure the availability of appropriately skilled resources to meet organisational objectives and commitments
  • Contributes to the development of the workforce planning approach. Oversees and reviews the implementation of workforce plans
  • Develops current-state assessment of workforce skills, capabilities and potential. Forecasts future workforce demand for skills based on business plans and external factors
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities

Developing Our People: as a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • You can understand and demonstrate application of key PMO responsibilities, methods, disciplines, tools and analysis techniques, to monitor, control and report on Programmes and/or Projects
  • You are familiar with methods and techniques for reporting progress and financial conformance against an agreed plan
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and is highly experienced at engaging with stakeholders and influencing outcomes
  • You have relevant experience working in a delivery environment, preferably in a Financial Services environment

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

  • Have previous line management experience
