Job Description

As a PMO Lead at Legal & General, you will play a critical role in the development and delivery of PMO services across the People Change & Transformation Change Portfolio. Your expertise will be instrumental in evolving our approach to programme governance, ensuring a balance between control and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver proportionate governance processes that drive value and return on investment across the HR Change portfolio.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of our benefits realisation framework, leveraging strong analytical skills to create a robust framework for measuring success.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver effective portfolio governance, providing guidance and supervision to ensure seamless programme delivery.
  • Establish and maintain a strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, applying this knowledge to drive process improvements and enhance programme delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of resource, supply, and demand management, including forward-looking portfolio-level forecasting for scrum teams and Change & IT roles.
  • Present complex information confidently and effectively, using strong analytical and presentation skills to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of setting up and improving PMOs, with a strong ability to re-frame and run them day-to-day.
  • Experience of working with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, with a strong understanding of their application in programme delivery.
  • Strong execution skills, with a proven ability to deliver process improvements and drive programme success.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and programme teams.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
