International Insurance Firm is seeking an accomplished PMO Planning Lead to join the senior management team to drive efficiency, ROI, improve delivery through better planning and contribute to our success.
- Overview_

As the PMO Finance Planning Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic financial planning and management of projects and programs within our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, finance teams, and senior leadership, to ensure effective financial governance and optimal resource allocation.
- Key Responsibilities_
- Lead the development and maintenance of financial planning processes, tools, and frameworks for projects and programs.
- Collaborate with project managers to create accurate project budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Monitor project financial performance, track actuals against forecasts, and provide insightful analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with finance teams to ensure alignment of project financials with overall organizational budget and financial goals.
- Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting key financial metrics, variance analysis, and recommendations at each project milestone.
- Facilitate financial decision-making by providing relevant data, insights, and scenarios for different project investment options.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the PMO and finance functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Qualifications_
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience PMO financial planning, analysis, or project/program management, ideally within Financial Services sector.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
