Job Description

As a Talent Advisor, you’ll work closely with the Senior Talent Partner supporting with the agency departments and management teams. Responsibilities will vary according to the needs of the business but include managing Employee Relations issues and helping to deliver engagement initiatives. We are looking for a bright, articulate and motivated person to join the team. Someone with the confidence to run their own meetings with stakeholders across the business and trust their judgment on the relevant HR processes to follow as well as proactive and keen to support the delivery of effective people initiatives. Understanding how to build the most effective teams, across a diverse range of skill-sets and in a market that is constantly evolving and highly competitive makes it the perfect environment to develop your craft as a Talent professional. What you’ll do:

You’ll work with the Senior Talent Partner and Management team to identify and solve talent issues such as engaging teams and developing high performing talent. You’ll need to develop an in-depth understanding of each area of the business and strong relationships with managers and employees to support their development and help them achieve their targets. You will be a hub of knowledge and relationships, connecting the right people to ensure the business’s Talent needs are always being met on time and to the highest standard. Whatever it is, you’ll always be looking one step ahead to make sure we’ve got the people we need, performing at their best. You will be the go-to person for people managers that need advice on how to tackle tricky conversations, solve resource issues or support employees through a variety of different challenges. Work with people managers to proactively manage employee issues such as grievances, poor performance, disciplinary and absence. Provide support to the Senior Talent Partner in large change management initiatives, including TUPE, restructures and redundancy situations. Oversee all parental friendly processes for the agency, such as maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and flexible working. Working closely with our Talent Coordinator to ensure our processes and policies are in line with employment legislation and are consistent with Publicis Groupe policies and procedures. Proactively support the consistent approach to performance management, including providing training on process and tools, coaching and support to managers and ensuring standards are achieved across all departments Contribute to agency, Groupe Talent initiatives and change projects as directed by Senior Talent Partners, working collaboratively with the team to deliver to deadlines Support the coordination of salary reviews, collaborating with the Senior Talent Partner and Talent Operations team to ensure current data is up to date and conducting benchmarking exercises. Supporting with communication around salary review process. Participate in engagement and retention initiatives, help embed change and positively impact our culture Work closely with the talent acquisition team to ensure we attract top talent and we support the direct model for sourcing candidates. Support in Learning and Development activity, including collating nominations and delivery of training to talent related sessions. Mentoring and coaching the Talent Coordinator, to support their performance and growth, and delivery of HR Operations processes such as starters, leavers, payroll, systems in an accurate and timely manner, and in line with current regulations. Harness the power of the data we collect across the employee lifecycle (moments that matter – our employee lifecycle surveys) to help leaders make better, more informed, and objective strategic decisions, providing this MI in a timely manner and sharing key insights.

This role reports to the Senior Talent Partner You’ll mentor and support the Talent Coordinator You’ll work closely with the wider community of Talent Advisors People managers and mgmt are key stakeholders of this role

Qualifications

What it takes:

Passionate and interested about the power of HR/Talent functions to affect change and improve business performance Solid generalist Talent (HR) background with a broad understanding across multiple disciplines (e.g. Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Engagement and L&D) Able to demonstrate good working knowledge of UK employment law Experience in working effectively in a changing and fast-paced environment with flexible approach Good attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and able to multi-task and prioritise workload Analytical thinker – ability to analyse, interpret and confidently present key Talent trends to internal stakeholders CIPD qualified or have ambition to continue personal learning & development in the Talent space Previous experience in similar industry preferred (Media, Production, Digital, Advertising, Tech) but not essential
