Training Compliance Manager

We're currently looking to recruit a Training Compliance Manager to report directly to the Head of Learning & Talent. This role will lead the training co-ordination teams to ensure training co-ordination is managed effectively, driving compliance and consistency across our business stream.
Location: Flexible on base location, with expected travel between contract sites
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – flexibility on part-time hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
As a Training Compliance Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Managing the implementation from a training perspective of any legislation changes, Kier Group directives and projects in relation to H&S and technical training.
- Representing the business stream as a SME for technical and compliance training, influencing decision making to ensure business requirements are fulfilled.
- Providing SME training support for mobilisations and demobilisations.
- Managing the integration and ongoing BAU activity for our learning management system.
- Ensuring SHE and compliance training needs are identified in line with agreed matrices.
- Producing monthly and periodic reports including working with senior management to meet client training reporting needs.
What are we looking for?
This role of Training Compliance Manager is great for you if you have:
- Demonstrable knowledge of SHE, technical, compliance & legislative training requirements as relevant to the Utilities and Infrastructure sector.
- An ability to influence stakeholders at all levels across the business and show a broad influencing style to obtain buy in to new ideas.
- Proven experience in training compliance and experience with learning managements systems/training evaluation tools.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with an analytical mindset.
- Comfortable in presenting to senior leaders with the ability to empower, motivate and to create a positive, inclusive team ethos.
