Training Compliance Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Training Compliance Manager to join our team at Kier Group. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the training coordination teams to ensure effective management of training activities, driving compliance and consistency across our business stream.

Responsibilities

  • Training Compliance: Implement training from a training perspective of any legislation changes, Kier Group directives, and projects in relation to H&S and technical training.
  • SME Representation: Represent the business stream as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical and compliance training, influencing decision-making to ensure business requirements are fulfilled.
  • SME Training Support: Provide SME training support for mobilizations and demobilizations.
  • Learning Management System: Manage the integration and ongoing BAU activity for our learning management system.
  • Compliance and SHE Training: Ensure SHE and compliance training needs are identified in line with agreed matrices.
  • Reporting: Produce monthly and periodic reports, including working with senior management to meet client training reporting needs.

Requirements

  • SHE and Compliance Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of SHE, technical, compliance, and legislative training requirements as relevant to the Utilities and Infrastructure sector.
  • Influencing Style: Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels across the business and show a broad influencing style to obtain buy-in to new ideas.
  • Training Compliance Experience: Proven experience in training compliance and experience with learning management systems/training evaluation tools.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with an analytical mindset.
  • Presentational Skills: Comfortable in presenting to senior leaders with the ability to empower, motivate, and create a positive, inclusive team ethos.
