**Accounts Assistant - Head Office, Salford, Manchester**

We are looking for an **ECO Compliance Officer **to join the Thermatic Homes team.

Thermatic Homes is passionate about creating, sustainable, and more efficient homes across the social housing sector.

The role of ECO Compliance Officer supports our efforts by supporting the submissions process to ensure all funded works are completed in a safe, compliant, and timely manner in line with ECO4 criteria and putting customer satisfactory as a high priorty.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with different customers and departments within the business. You will have great time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills and you'll also be confident with operating MS Office package and quick to learn new computer-based systems.

**Essential attributes also include**:

- **Experience in auditing or building ECO submissions for at least 2 types of measures**:

- Expert knowledge of home improvement works, in particular, energy efficiency
- Understanding of and operating within a regulated environment (Ofgem, FCA, Safety, Compliance)

Experience working with employed and subcontracted workforce and with dispersed/field-based team would be advantageous though is not essential.

**Hours & Location of Work**:

- Main location - Thermatic Head Office based in Salford. Opportunities to work remotely will be available.
- Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Audit ECO submission to in-house and Ofgem compliance standards
- Support timely processing of submissions
- Conduct receipt measures, send compliance reports to installers, and manage their returns
- Support new installers in understanding the submissions process
- Assist in notifying Ofgem of submission and answer exemption requests from Ofgem
- Answer ECO compliance queries in shared mailbox and telephone line
- Accurately record all aspects of submissions for monitoring and reporting purposes
- Check post-installation documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Assist the Installations Manager and General Manager with the development and refinement of process, to ensure efficient delivery of our obligations
- Drive solutions that improve customer satisfaction and deliver installations on time and to margin plans
- Contact customers post-survey and installation to verify information or to request additional information
- Resolve queries received from the funders in respect of work submitted in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with installers
- Provide training to upskill key employees on submission documentation
