Alrewas GP surgery is looking for new receptionist-administrators to join its friendly and busy staff team.

Located in the lovely village of Alrewas, just north of Lichfield and south of Burton on Trent, with easy access just off the A38, we provide GP services to 7400 patients across a wide rural area.

Join us and you will experience a varied workload, be part of a supportive team, receive ongoing training opportunities and receive an excellent pension. We also have free staff car parking facilities and are located near to local shops.

We're offering a minimumof hours per week over 3 sessions.

Sessions are 8am - 1:30pm, 1:30 - 6:30 pm or 8am - 6:30pm with an hour lunch break. You must be able to work at least one session on either a Monday or a Friday.

Main duties of the job

As part of the reception and administration team you will be responsible for navigating and signposting patients to the most appropriate primary care service for their query/health concern, following clinical instructions and using knowledge and understanding.

You will provide a courteous, professional, efficient and effective first point of contact service for the GP surgery and undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth ,effective running of the Practice.
