This role will be responsible for coordinating the development of overarching Digital Strategy, and defining, owning and implementing the Digital Sales and Sales System Strategy. Acting as the single point of contact for all change activity in the Digital Sales and Sales Systems area, the role holder is responsible for the overall leadership and delivery of the BMW Financial Services Digital Sales capability to support the BMW Financial Services strategy, including relevant centrally driven project initiatives.

What awaits you?

Leading our high performing Digital Sales Systems team. Steering the joined up holistic development of the digital sales capabilities across all existing and new sales channels (B2C and B2B). Ensuring that our Sales system development strategy is aligned to the retailer and partner network and influence on their own development plans to ensure customer/business/compliance needs are met. Analysing how effective software, process and the wider Sales IT ecosystem fit the retailer and partner system landscape and enable direct sales capabilities. Owning and driving forward new or improved system capabilities within the organisation to enable innovation and enhanced system capabilities that support the Sales strategy and deliver positive sales outcomes. Delivering key insight into how our customers, retailers and partners interact with processes and systems to ensure representation is given and considered for internal system development. Ensuring that critical business, operations as well as legal and compliance requirements are being represented and considered in the digital sales & IT system/solution design. Coordinating development of the overall Digital strategy to support the overall UK and BMW Group strategy. Developing the retailer digital sales capabilities across existing and new sales channels. Demonstrates the values & principles of our Customer Driven Organisation in their work & behaviours to consistently drive good customer outcomes & effortless experiences.

What should you bring along?

Experience of leading a technical team. Experience in managing external providers. In-depth and formal qualifications in Business and Systems Analysis. PRINCE 2 or PMP, SCRUM qualification is desirable. Customer focused Marketing and/or Sales experience is desirable. Ability to challenge the status-quo and take a holistic view of topics to achieve the best outcome. Strong ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels. Work on own initiative and expects team members to do the same, with a high commitment for delivery and quality. Experience within Financial Services is preferable, as well as relevant experience in the automotive industry. Excellent written and verbal influencing skills. Pragmatic problem solver, adaptable, curious to learn more about the business, and resilience to persevere and drive priorities forward. Results orientated. Broad exposure to all business areas, within SF and NSC, including knowledge of organisation, systems, processes and strategy. Use of AGILE toolset.
