Job summary

Band 3 Sleep Unit Co-Ordinator

The post holder is required to provide administrative support within the department with specific responsibilities for booking and confirming appointments on Patient Centre.

Ideally you should enjoy working as part of a team to support the delivery of a quality service and be confident with the use of Microsoft office packages including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Main duties of the job

Examples of responsibilities:-

To support the Senior Co-Ordinator and ensure efficient and responsive booking of appointments, including overnight, consultant, home diagnostic and CPAP set up appointments.

Manage admin office telephone, booking inpatient and outpatient appointments, dealing with queries demonstrating an excellent telephone manner and ability to multitask.

Agree and confirm admission dates for diagnostic studies, treatment and outpatient follow up.

To be responsible for proactive and efficient organisation of allocated clinics ensuring that patients are booked into the most appropriate sessions.
