The Fish is a family owned, 4 AA Red Star property featuring a stunning seafood restaurant "Hook" (2 AA rosette) which serves sustainable Cornish seafood. Our guests can also enjoy our beautiful lounge and bars areas, which serves gourmet hotdogs and small plates, alongside cocktails and all kinds of delicious regional tipples. We regularly host events, large and small, and offer stunning outdoor spaces to dine, relax and sip away on a cocktail or two. As such we are a busy venue 

We are now looking for a Deputy F&B Manager to support our F&B Manager in helping lead our mission of providing a truly exceptional, guest-led experience within all of our F&B activities. You will ideally hold the following experience:

  • Working in a similar role in a red star (or equivalent) luxury hotel setting
  • High volume F&B experience
  • Guest focused and obsessed with 5* guest experience
  • Demonstrable experience in managing wine/bar/cocktail stock, departments and team
  • An absolutely meticulous eye for detail
  • Confident in managing and developing junior managers, supervisors and front line team
  • Highly adaptable with a fresh, forward thinking approach to creating truly memorable guest experiences

We offer a salary package of up to £37,500 per year depending on experience, plus service charge - the total potential package being up to around £40,000 per year. We also offer meals on duty and an allowance towards your work outfits.
