A Contracts Administrator is required in a well-established Structural Steel Fabrication company based in North Yorkshire.

Start Date: Immediate
Salary Rate: £45,000 per annum
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Contracts Managers to ensure the smooth coordination of project activities and tasks.
  • Work alongside Contracts Managers to gather, manage, and update project information.
  • Maintain and organize both digital and hard copy records of project information.
  • Keep the Load Tracker and Drawing Vault up to date.
  • Ensure that project information and updates are effectively communicated to site teams.
  • Submit and record Requests for Information (RFIs), and manage responses through client portals.
  • Answer queries related to work using Tekla or by liaising with the drawing office.
  • Facilitate the approval process for steel drawings for construction.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience with bespoke software and industry-standard tools such as IFC viewers, Tekla, and Trimble Connect.
  • Familiarity with estimating/design work and measurement for construction projects.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of roles, information flow, and basic workflows.

Personal Characteristics:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
  • Willingness to attend training courses for statutory certification.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
