You will have received a Secretarial Assistant job description and person specification. This is a generic role in use throughout the organisation. However, you are employed to work in Plymouth and you will be based across all Barnardo's Family Hubs in the City. This recruitment is for our service at FourWoods Family Hub, Crownhill Road. It is for 5 working days ( 25 hours). Monday to Friday 09:30 to 14:30

Barnardo's delivers Family Hub services and Early Years Education across the Plymouth locality.

Role Objectives 


This particular role will involve the worker:

Interacting with children and families within groups to gather feedback and evaluations both qualitative and quantitative. Creating evaluations and adapting them to match the activities on offer using a range of different platforms including, Microsoft word, Microsoft forms, QR codes etc.  Preparing reports and presentations that summarize evaluations. Developing and maintaining data bases for tracking evaluations, outcomes and impact. Supporting the team with excellent administration skills, having full knowledge of MS Office especially Excel, and the ability to use data and reporting systems. Having an understanding of Family Hubs and the work that we do to support local vulnerable families with children.  Building working relationships with key partner agencies including local Health Teams Processing referral forms as part of the data team. Objectives of Service: The Family Hub cluster model requires the Locality team to work collaboratively across a network of centres to improve outcomes for young children and their families. This model requires positive collaboration and team working both internally and across partner agencies.
 
This post is fixed term until 31 December 2025.
 
The starting salary for this role is £22,620.00 (Full Time Equivalent) other salaries are shown so that applicants are aware of the progression salaries.
