Are you a skilled Administrator seeking a rewarding opportunity? We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Administrator to support our operations on a Full-Time Permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will deliver administrative assistance across multiple Academies in the Manchester area, as well as in Leeds and Bebington.
Working Schedule
36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Job Location
This position offers hybrid working, primarily based in our central hub. Occasional travel may be necessary to provide administrative support to other Academies.
Key Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with colleagues and external partners. Assist in preparing budgets. Facilitate the smooth operation of projects by providing administrative support to management and mentors. Support the service pathway requests for eligible pupils. Engage actively in project evaluations. Prepare necessary documentation and presentation materials. Organize meetings and take minutes as required, including distributing minutes and related documents. Manage the facility alongside the Children's Service Manager, including essential health and safety responsibilities.Essential Qualifications
Extensive experience with IT systems, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Proven experience in managing financial systems, including reporting, petty cash handling, and budget oversight. Strong background in data entry, record maintenance, and statistical reporting. Ability to uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, young individuals, and visitors. Demonstrated substantial office experience.About the Service
Barnardo's collaborates with various Academies to provide targeted, responsive, one-on-one support for students facing persistent attendance challenges.
Please note that while this position is permanent, it is contingent upon ongoing funding. Should funding not be renewed, a redundancy consultation or TUPE arrangement may occur.
