Derwent Lodge is a 16-bed, single-level building for male and female clients, offering a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment. Our facilities support recovery and foster increasing independence. We believe in involving individuals in managing their own conditions, offering a stable home life for both short and long-term stays for those who need our help.

Overview of the role purpose: 

As a Bank Support Worker, you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey. You will work flexibly – as and when required by the service.

Essential skills and experience required for this role:

  • I am a good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient and willing to learn
  • I can demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of the Charity.
