Overview:The SalesManager plays a crucial role in the Edtech industry responsible forleading a team to drive sales and revenue growth. This position isvital in shaping the sales strategy building and maintainingcustomer relationships and contributing to the overall success oftheorganization.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Develop and executestrategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand customerbase.
  • Lead train and motivate the sales team toensure high performance andproductivity.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs toassess performance and implementimprovements.
  • Identify emerging markets andmarket shifts while being fully aware of new products andcompetition status.
  • Establish strongrelationships with key clients understanding their needs andaddressing concerns.
  • Collaborate with marketingto develop lead generation strategies and promotionalmaterials.
  • Conduct regular sales forecastingand planning to ensure accurate inventory and resourceallocation.
  • Participate in industry events andconferences to generate leads and represent theorganization.
  • Contribute to the development ofpricing strategies to maximize profits and marketshare.
  • Prepare and present reports on salesperformance and sales pipeline to seniormanagement.
  • Oversee the negotiation and closingof large deals with clients and partners.
  • Stayupdated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the salesprocess.
  • Drive a customercentric culture withinthe sales team and ensure excellent customer servicestandards.
  • Lead by example in demonstratingdedication resilience and a commitment toexcellence.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree inBusiness Administration Marketing or related field; Master s degreeis a plus.
  • Proven experience as a sales manageror in a similar sales role within the Edtechindustry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading asales team to meet or exceed targets.
  • Deepunderstanding of sales performance metrics and proficiency in CRMsoftware.
  • Strong business acumen and strategicthinking to develop and implement effective salesplans.
  • Excellent communication and negotiationskills with the ability to build rapport and trust withclients.
  • Proven ability to drive the salesprocess from plan to close and a track record of successful B2Bsales.
  • Strong leadership and team managementskills with the ability to inspire and motivateothers.
  • Ability to travel as needed and a validdriver s license.
  • Highly organizeddetailoriented and capable of multitasking in a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Previous experience in Edtechsales and a strong network within the industry is highlydesirable.
  • Proven track record of meeting orexceeding sales targets and deliveringresults.
  • Knowledge of learning managementsystems educational technology and digital solutions is anadvantage.
  • Passion for education innovation andimproving learning outcomes throughtechnology.
  • Certifications in sales ormanagement will be considered anasset.
