We require an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to work as an integral part of our Support Office team to maintain and improve the efficiency of the overall group operation.

The Purchase Ledger Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the purchase ledger activity for the
Group, ensuring the highest service levels are obtained for the business
operation, in line with the Company’s business objectives, policies and
procedures.  This is a role which
requires supervising a team while being hands on too and in the detail.  The expectation will be to deliver while
ensuring the team delivers too.

    cover for absences.

    of the Purchase Ledger inbox and helping the team prioritize workload.
  • Checking
    invoices are being processed by the team correctly and to the correct GL codes.
  • Weekly payment runs
    for two companies within the business.
  • Ad-hoc same Day
    payments In Barclays.
  • Aged
    creditors – reviewing and actioning any outstanding items, debit balances,
    missing invoices, payments taken. Reconciling DD accounts.
  • Will
    be responsible for processing Lease invoices, Council taxes and reconciling
    utility accounts.
  • Responsibility
    of the Supplier statements, ranging between 200-250 per month, co-ordinating
    with the team to ensure a collaborative effort. 
    Making this part of a cyclical process.
  • Registering
    and verifying CIS Suppliers on HMRC.
  • Communicate
    with vendors and reject incorrect invoices and get them reissued.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Hours:  35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (1 hour lunch break) with occasional overnight visits to our parks.
