We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join our Support Office team at Haulfryn Group. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchase ledger activity for the Group, ensuring the highest service levels are obtained for the business operation.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of purchase ledger administrators to deliver expected levels of performance, dealing with staff fairly and ensuring work is allocated evenly and sufficient cover for absences.
- Ownership of the Purchase Ledger inbox and helping the team prioritize workload.
- Checking invoices are being processed by the team correctly and to the correct General Ledger (GL) codes.
- Weekly payment runs for two companies within the business.
- Ad-hoc same Day payments in Barclays.
- Aged creditors – reviewing and actioning any outstanding items, debit balances, missing invoices, payments taken. Reconciling Direct Debit (DD) accounts.
- Process Lease invoices, Council taxes and reconcile utility accounts.
- Responsibility of the Supplier statements, ranging between per month, coordinating with the team to ensure a collaborative effort. Making this part of a cyclical process.
- Register and verify CIS Suppliers on HMRC.
- Communicate with vendors and reject incorrect invoices and get them reissued.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Previous experience supervising a team of transactional staff.
- Knowledge of Business Central/Navision preferred.
- CIS knowledge preferred.
- Positive attitude and keen to learn.
- Ability to use initiative and think outside the box.
- Methodical, accurate and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Team player adaptable and keen to help.
- Keen eye to detail.
- Able to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Happy to travel to our holiday parks around the country.
