The Department

Dealer Auction is a digital business leading the way in the transformation of automotive remarketing.  A joint venture between Auto Trader and Cox Automotive, Dealer Auction is the UK’s largest online wholesale marketplace. 

Dealer Auction’s core purpose is to help automotive businesses buy and sell used vehicles online, faster and smarter than any other platform.  Customers include Manufacturer’s; Fleet & Leasing companies; Franchise and Independent Retailers.  Transacting over 100,000 vehicles every year and attracting over 6000 buyers.  As buying and selling moves away from traditional methods into online solutions, Dealer Auction is set to grow exponentially.

The Role

Our Managed Services team collaborates closely with a range of OEM and fleet customers, overseeing the entire remarketing process from vehicle upload to final sale. To provide comprehensive support, the team comprises Managed Services Coordinators, who handle administrative tasks, and Account Managers.

The primary objective of the Account Manager role is to boost sales volumes across our buyer networks, ensuring that both internal and external sales targets are met. Success in this role hinges on maximizing sales opportunities and fostering new and repeat business.

Account Managers play a pivotal role in driving platform engagement among our buyer networks. Their innate ability to establish rapport and secure deals with potential clients is paramount.

Moreover, maintaining robust client relationships is key. This involves consistently delivering exceptional results, upholding high standards of customer service, and adeptly communicating feedback during customer review sessions.
