We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Oxford, Oxfordshire. Our client is looking for someone to aid with their rehabilitation programme this consists of PEG feeding, Medication administration and other aspects of daily living.

Our client lives with their family so there must be professional boundaries set in place.

For this role you must be able to drive as well as have access to your own vehicle.

 

Working Hours:

You will be a part of a team delivering 24/7 care – this role will only cover the day times with the shifts being from 08:00 – 20:00.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with personalised routines.
  • Assisting with rehabilitation programme.
  • Assisting with household cleaning.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Training & Background Checks:
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
