Enfys is an award-winning service based in Woodland House in the Heath area of Cardiff. We are a team comprised of psychologists, occupational therapists, graduate assistant psychologists and admin, and we work with children who are looked after (foster care, residential), children who are adopted and children on the edge of care.

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit a Psychologist to meet service demands of a growing demand on psychological formulation, and support to the systems working with children who are looked after and those who are adopted.

The Psychologist will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the service including supervision, training, and creating meaningful and impactful change. This post will sit alongside and within a supportive team of psychologists who work together to provide the team with the secure base needed to work with post holder will have opportunities to aid service development and build strong partnerships with others in the wider Child Psychology network and post will be supervised by the 8a Clinical Psychologist in Enfys.

Essential

Good Honours degree in Psychology with eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) with the BPS Post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the HCPC (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996 as accredited by the BPS). Eligibility for HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist

Additional training in relevant areas , research, supervision.

Experience

Post-qualification experience of working as a HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist.
