Our Commercial Operations Team is seeking a skilled Commercial Administrator to join our friendly team. This key position involves providing essential support within the Commercial Team and delivering first-class customer service to both internal and external clients involved in Gas, Electricity, and Water utility infrastructure projects.

So, what will you be doing?   
In this role, you will provide essential support by performing administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient processes. You will maintain and update relevant documentation and databases, ensuring high levels of accuracy. This position requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail.

While a background in finance or mathematics is advantageous due to the commercial nature of the department, it is not essential.

Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing current drawings and work planners, including updating files with any changes.
  • Liaising with internal and external clients to ensure accurate communication of information.
  • Assisting in the preparation of documents and maintaining and updating the database.
  • Supporting team meetings by preparing documentation, recording accurate minutes, and tracking action items.

The Person:
To be successful within this role you will have demonstrable experience within an administrative role and a positive attitude towards customer service, understanding its impact on business performance. You will also have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • A proactive and motivated approach with a can-do attitude, ‘making it happen’, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to investigate, resolve, and/or escalate client issues/requirements.
  • Knowledge of the utilities or construction industry would be advantageous, however, not essential.
