**Our Vacancy**
As a result of an internal promotion, our Commercial Operations Team are seeking a skilled Commercial Assistant to join their friendly team.
This is a key position providing support within the Commercial Team, providing a first-class, high level of customer service to both internal and external clients for Gas, Electricity and Water utility infrastructure projects.
**So, what will you be doing?**
As part of your role, you will provide integral support, carrying out administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of processes. Keeping relevant documentation and databases up to date, ensuring accuracy, this will require an individual with a keen eye for detail.
This role would ideally suit someone from a finance or mathematical background, given the commercial nature of the department, however, this is not essential.
Your daily tasks will include but not limited too:
- Taking the management of current drawings and work planners including updating files with any changes.
- Liaising with internal and external clients ensuring information is accurately communicated.
- Helping the preparation of documents, maintaining and updating database.
- Assisting with the preparation of documentation for team meetings, recording accurate minutes and actions
Full training and support will be provided from within the team to ensure you have all the tools to succeed
**The Person**:
To be successful within this role you will have demonstrable experience within an administrative role and a positive attitude towards customer service and understanding of its impact on business performance. You will also have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- A proactive and motivated approach with a can-do approach, ‘making it happen’, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- The ability to investigate, resolve and/or escalate client issues/requirements.
- Knowledge of the utilities or construction industry would be advantageous, however not essential.
