We have an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Specialist Nurse or Physiotherapist to join our community service on a fixed term contract.
This role would suit an experienced B6 looking for further experience and scope of practice or a B7 for further developmental opportunities clinically.
We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and self-motivated respiratory specialist with some experience in delivering care to patients with respiratory conditions.
The Wandsworth Specialist Respiratory Service service provides care for people with chronic respiratory diseases.
We work collaboratively supporting secondary and primary care, community integrated services and other healthcare professionals.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will spend their the time providing patient facing or related care, working within a multidisciplinary respiratory team to deliver community respiratory service in South West division, providing specialist services including hospital at home, home oxygen assessment & review service, clinics, stable disease management and home visits to provide expert specialist care to patients with chronic respiratory diseases.

Have advanced clinical knowledge in the management of patients with respiratory conditions. Be competent to offer guidance and supervision to members of the clinical team. Have excellent communication skills, comprehensive clinical assessment skills and the ability to lead on patient care provision to colleagues in primary and secondary care settings. You will need to be able to adapt to a fast moving service and possess the clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team.
