Job Title: Advanced Respiratory Specialist Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Respiratory Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Cardio-Respiratory Services team on a fixed-term part-time contract. The successful candidate will work alongside our consultants and nurses in respiratory medicine to provide high-quality physiotherapy care to adult respiratory patients in various settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and manage the provision of physiotherapy care to respiratory patients in hospital and community settings.
  • Provide support and advice to doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth transitions of care.
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team providing a range of services, including diagnostic clinics, COPD and asthma disease optimisation, exacerbation management, and pulmonary rehabilitation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to rotate through different specialisms and settings within the community and acute respiratory team.

Person Specification:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy and state registration with the Health & Care Professions Council.
  • Postgraduate study in Respiratory Physiotherapy and experience of working in pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
