The role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supplier & Customer Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the smooth transition of supplier switches, ensuring that both customer and supplier interactions are handled seamlessly.
As the main point of contact between our customers and energy suppliers the successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying and addressing any discrepancies in outstanding contracts, suggesting process improvements to enhance our operations, and ensuring high-performance standards.
You’ll also play a key role in providing training and development to sales and operational teams, helping to prevent recurring issues and fostering a collaborative, efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and delays that may arise during a supplier switch.
- Working with our customers to gather any missing information necessary for a smooth transition to a new contract.
- Coordinating with our suppliers to ensure that customer terminations are properly recorded in our systems.
- Reviewing and addressing any outstanding contracts to ensure that our systems accurately reflect the current information.
- Identifying and suggesting process improvements to address underlying issues within our operations.
- Providing training and development for colleagues in the sales departments and other operational teams to prevent recurring problems.
- Collaborating with multiple teams and departments to ensure high performance and efficiency.

- Prior experience in a customer support, or administration role, where you successfully resolved customer enquiries and provided excellent service.
- Exceptional skills in time management, attention to detail, and effective multitasking, allowing you to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Proactive mindset, consistently ensuring high productivity across all responsibilities by actively seeking opportunities to improve processes, identifying potential issues before they escalate, and taking initiative to implement solutions.
- Fantastic verbal and written communication skills
- Competent numerical reasoning skills
