Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and proficient Operations Coordinator to support our client's production and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a background from engineering or manufacturing, with the ability to review bills of materials (BOMs) and creating technical instructions for production, as well as supporting the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Administration:
    • Interpret drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) to produce clear, accurate production instructions.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes.
    • Update records with changes and ensure all documents are current.
  • Production Support:
    • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the smooth transfer of technical information to production teams.
    • Provide assistance to ensure correct implementation of instructions and specifications.
  • Procurement & Buying:
    • Support the Sourcing and purchase of components required for production.
    • Manage supplier relationships and track the timely delivery of materials.
    • Work with finance to ensure that procurement activities meet budget requirements.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain and update technical databases and documentation.
    • Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure smooth operations.
    • Prepare reports and data analysis for management when required.

Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per annum
