You will playan important role in supporting their academic progress socialdevelopment and emotionalwellbeing.

Responsibilities:

  • Providetailored support to small groups of students with learningdifficulties ensuring they can access the curriculum andparticipate in classroom activities.
  • Workclosely with class teachers and the SENCo to implement individualeducation plans (IEPs) for students withSEN.
  • Help students develop social skillsthrough group activities and oneononeinteraction.
  • Support children in buildingconfidence improving their communication skills and managing theirbehaviour in the classroom setting.
  • Monitorstudent progress providing regular feedback to the SENCo andteachers.
  • Contribute to creating a positive andinclusive learning environment where all students feel supportedand valued.

ExperienceandQualifications:

  • Previousexperience working in an SEN setting or with children with learningdifficulties is preferred.
  • Patience empathy anda nurturing approach are essential for thisrole.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the abilityto work collaboratively with teachers and SENstaff.
  • Excellent communication skills to engageeffectively with students staff and parents.
  • Aclear DBS check.
  • Legal right to work in theUK.
